The word ‘selenite’ comes from the Greek name for the goddess of the moon, Selene. It means moonbeams or the light and glow from the moon. Like the moon energy, it can be used to charge and amplify the energy of other crystals; simply place your crystals in a selenite bowl, on a selenite charging plate or use a wand or generator point.

Placing a piece of selenite in your home, or creating a grid of selenite around it, will create a peaceful and protective energy. If you work with it during meditation, you will find that you experience a pure clarity of mind and that you may be able to access past and future timelines.

Working with selenite can help you to understand what is affecting you in your subconscious. It will physically strip away the negative hooks placed in your energy field by the actions and words of others, or by your own self limiting thoughts. It is a powerful tool of self healing.
