Welcome to Scottish Borders Rocks. I specialise in ethically sourced crystals, crystal jewellery and crystal homeware, all hand selected by me. In my shop, ethically sourced means that all of my crystals come from small mines run by family and independent businesses. This means that there is no big industry involved, so we can ensure everyone is paid and treated well, and that no funds are funnelled to other organisations. The crystals are extracted using hand tools rather than explosives or big machinery.
I have a snug high street shop in Selkirk in the beautiful Scottish Borders. I also try to add as many crystals as I can to the website, but if you have anything particular in mind that you don’t see here, please contact me. You will find the shop on Selkirk’s historic High Street, on the beautiful A7 route between Carlisle and Edinburgh. One of the oldest royal burghs in Scotland, Selkirk rises out of the southern bank of the River Ettrick, just above where it flows into the Tweed. In 2018, I decided to move to Selkirk and work meaningfully with crystals. I found a beautiful property on Selkirk High Street which had once been a haberdashery and milliners. I knew straight away it was perfect for my shop, and set about the project that would become Scottish Borders Rocks. I hope you like what I created.
